Mortality; a word that was probably never in the minds of some of the greatest artists we lost too soon. Due to the results of things like drowning, auto accidents, or as far as the grim consequences of suicide, twenty-seven is extremely too young to lose a rising star. Once the adornment subdues post mortem, the memory of said member dissipates inch by inch until they are able to be misrepresented or worse: forgotten. Timisarocker, the party rock band from the Twin Cities, appeases that notion and pays respects in a way that will last a lifetime. 27 Club by Timisarocker, releasing on February 26, 2022, offers listeners the point of view of the pressure that some of these young gifts to music and art must have had to face at such a young age and offers clarity and closure to the troubling stories that have touched so many lives. With a song that encapsulates a story of being discovered and quick decisions that have varying results of success that all in all result in unfortunate tragedy, Timisarocker asks the question: what is the cost of fame?
